Living in a dark world- It would be a nightmare. I love my sense of sight, and don’t know what I’d do without it. I’d hate not to be able to see all the beautiful things life has to offer. I wouldn’t be able to see the blessings in everyday life that I usually take for granted. The beauty in this world is undeniable, and to live in darkness would be a curse.

      I would wake up every morning to a dark world; it would be a world without the ability to appreciate beauty. I wouldn’t see the outfit I had on that day, or even see what I was picking out at my favorite store. The sense of sight is the one that allows you to be able to do things independently. Without it, there would always be a person there who would have to help you. What ever happened to a little time of solitude here and there?

      To be blind would make me feel as if nobody understood me, and nobody even cared enough to try. I wouldn’t be able to ever be around my friends the same way; it would always be awkward and uncomfortable. My life would be changed in so many ways; I can barely stand to think about. So, appreciate the beauty that surrounds you. You never know when an act of recklessness could take the ability to see away from you.
