The Rosens, as Jews, were in immediate danger the moment the German soldiers stepped foot on our Danish land. As we all know, Nazi soldiers have been taking Jews. No one knows where. No one knows why. So many questions fill our head. Some people believe it is Denmark’s duty to protect our people, forming the Resistance.

Jews, scared and helpless, are taken everyday by Nazi soldiers to a place that is kept in secret. To prevent this, people have been smuggling Jews from Denmark to Sweden, an otherwise safe place. We have recieved information that another succesful attempt has been commited. Ellen Rosen, a 10 year old girl, with her parents, is safe from the German’s harm. It was reported from an anonymous source that Peter Neilsen led the group to a fisherman’s boat, where they were hidden from the Nazis. A certain Johansen family was reported to have helped also.  The fishermen have been equipped with a special handkerchief that is able to knock out a dog’s scent of smell temporarily once it has sniffed. These were used on the German’s trained dogs.

The Rosens, with another unknown family, are now in Sweden, safe and sound from the Nazi’s cruelness. We thank everyone who is working to find justice in the situation of Denmark and all other countries invaded by Germany. Our fight for justice has just now begun.
